Ms. Pedroza and Mr. Gurovich discuss what fraud is and what it is not in the context of California’s workers’ compensation system. They outline the pitfalls and landmines that can cause medical providers to be wrongly accused - costing some their reputation, license and livelihood.

You must complete a multiple choice exam and earn a grade of 70% to pass. The program consists of downloadable audio tracks and a PDF syllabus, all of which is relevant and must be reviewed (minimum of 0.75 hour). For AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ you are required to submit a narrative for one or two questions, including a follow-up a couple months after your initial submission. This course is valid for two years after the original release/recording date of June 9 - 10, 2017 and expires June 2019.
